Never one to miss an opportunity to go out in the snow, R and I went out walking around the river in Stony this morning. It was toasty warm walking all wrapped up in our winter clothes and the snow in the fields was deep and crisp (and even.) The river was grey and frozen but so pretty. Everyone we met was in a merry mood and spoke to us as we stomped through the snow. I love my home town and county so much and I'm really never happier than when I'm back home with kindred folk.
Here are a couple of magical Stony
Stratford winter scenes along with Mr Heron who was sitting in the reeds in the middle of the river looking very fed up with being cold!
