Singing with joy
Nick came to the rugby with us yesterday as Rob went to Wasps and my bro couldn't make it. So when we got there, Mum and Dad went straight in and Nick and I went for a walk around the ground, to the village and to the players tunnel to see if we could get any autographs in Nick's new autograph book. It was such fun, just the two of us. It's not often I'm completely alone with any of my neices or nephews as there's always loads of us about. So it was wonderful to walk and chat with him and share the fun of trying to get autographs and spot the rugby players we like. We managed to get a couple of autographs and then walked back through the village to get a hot chocolate. It was pouring with rain and rather chilly but as I walked through the Saints stadium, hand in hand with Nick, giggling at the silly jokes we were both making, my heart was singing out with pure joy at being so lucky to be spending brilliant one-to-one time with my gorgeous and funny nephew. It was wonderful.
