Cosy

So burning wood in a stove sounds easy - yes? Hmmmhh that's what I thought until we lit the paper and kindling and all the smoke came gushing out the door. So we closed the door and it all started seeping around the edges filling the front-room with smoke! It was all a bit scary and nothing like that happened the other day when we tried it out. Thankfully we sussed out it was all down to the air settings to sweep the smoke up the chimney - but you can still smell the smoke in the house today - oops!

Once it got going it was lovely though and looked so cosy. We had a bit of a problem keeping it going as our logs weren't seasoned ones and so need to dry out a little. It was great fun though!!
