A day at the rugby

I had such a blast at Twickenham yesterday. It was so sweet to see Tigers out-muscled and out-thought for once. They were totally and utterly thumped by Wasps and I've never seen them make so many mistakes or be suckered in so well and truly by another team. It was just sweet to see the boot on the other foot for once.

And it was such a fun day too. We went with John (Rob's dad) and Pete (Rob's uncle) and it was brilliant to spend the day with them albeit drinking perhaps slightly too much beer during the day! It was amazing how many Munster fans were there yesterday, as well as French - it was a real festival of rugby. And Twickenham amazingly was full to the brim which really made the day. We met up with John, Anne, Maggie and Martin in Cardinal Vaughn for a beer and a chat and then we ended up with a traditional curry in Twickenham before making it home before the last Sunday train. A real old fashioned rugby day.

And that's it for this season, a fitting end!
