Em is seven years old today so we went around yesterday for a birthday tea and to open some presents. She had a bowling party in the morning with some of her friends and by the time we went around in the afternoon she was totally hyper having been the centre of attention all morning and was feeling very 'it' by the time we got there. She was funny and had SO many presents - oh to be 7 again!!
We had got her a Zhu Zhu starter pack (manic plastic hamsters!!) which she'd said she wanted. It was funny as I'd asked Mum to ask her what she liked at the moment and so she'd written me a list of things. When she opened her present, bless her she shouted out "You're the best!" ha ha and then turned to me and said "So you did get my list.."
When she thanked us she hugged me and Uncle Rob and said to me "I bet you do all the present shopping and wrapping don't you?"
