Proud of our boy

It makes me proud; when we watch England matches in the bar at Northampton Saints.

It's such good fun with the match on the big screens and the Saints fans all cheering on the England Saints. When Chris Ashton scored his first try this week against Italy we all cheered and then double-cheered and laughed at his trademark swallow-dive. He'd been told not to do that anymore but Ash is Ash and he's always done the dive, it's his cheeky character, it's how he expresses his enjoyment of the game. You want tries then you have to take the whole package.

And in the bar we cheered his second try; and his third; and his fourth; and then re-cheered at each replay. Wonderful stuff. We Saints fans salute the Ash. Long may he score tries.
