White Footsteps

The weather in the UK over the last week has been unusual to say the least. We're lucky to get a couple of inches of snow in one go but this week we've had loads and it's the most snow for 18 years - apparently! As I love the white stuff I took full opportunity of this once-in-a-18-year occurrence and made sure I walked to work every day to get the full benefit.

It was so beautiful and I now feel that I've walked my work route in just about every sort of weather. There's something deeply satisfying about that. Every day is a different view and a different type of wonder. My camera really couldn't catch the complete stillness and beauty of the last week but here's a few anyway.
